Job summary

Mitie Group plc. in the Midlands is seeking a Pumps Engineer to deliver maintenance, repair and installation of pump systems across customer sites in the UK. You will work on planned and reactive tasks with a team or independently, and participate in an out-of-hours rota.

The role requires electrical knowledge, experience in engineering or maintenance, ability to work with pipework and valves, and a full UK driving licence with willingness to travel, including overnight stays when required.

Responsibilities

• ROLE: Pumps Engineer
• HOURS: Full Time, including participation in an Out of Hours rota (approximately 1 in 4 weeks on call)

We're looking for a Pumps Engineer who is passionate about delivering high-quality maintenance, repair and installation services for a range of pump systems across customer sites throughout the UK.

Role Responsibilities:

• Attend customer sites independently or as part of a team to carry out planned and reactive works
• Service, repair and maintain a variety of pump systems to ensure optimal performance and reliability
• Respond to call-outs and breakdowns relating to sewage, rainwater and cold-water booster pump systems
• Install new pump systems in line with company and customer requirements
• Travel throughout the UK and undertake overnight stays where required to support operational needs

Required Qualifications:

• Previous electrical knowledge and experience within a relevant engineering or maintenance environment
• Competent in working with pipework and valves
• Full UK Driving Licence and willingness to travel extensively, including overnight stays when required
