DWF invites applications for a Legal Director in its Government and Public Sector practice. The role leads complex matters, builds client relationships across public and private sectors, and shapes strategic direction while maintaining high service standards.

The role supports a hybrid working approach with regional offices in Manchester, Birmingham, Leeds, Newcastle or Liverpool. The successful candidate will have extensive experience in public law, procurement, grant funding and Subsidy

Qualifications

• Qualified solicitor with significant experience advising on public law and commercial issues including grant funding, grant programmes, public procurement and Subsidy Control law.
• Knowledge of central, regional and local government interactions and policy delivery.

Responsabilités

• Advise public and private sector organisations on commercial and public sector matters, including procurement and grant funding.
• Draft, review and advise on complex contracts, grant programmes and procurement documents.
• Develop long-term client relationships and collaborate with colleagues across the firm.
• Mentor junior lawyers and support their development.
• Contribute to business development and knowledge-sharing within the team.
