Job summary

QED Legal in Leeds is seeking a Commercial & Public Sector Solicitor with 1–3 PQE to join a national law firm’s team advising public and private sector clients on commercial contracts, public procurement, Subsidy Control and grant funding.

You’ll work hybrid from Leeds, with direct client contact, contribute to strategy and business development, and help deliver high-profile regeneration projects nationwide.

Qualifications

• 1–3 PQE required.
• Experience drafting and negotiating commercial contracts.
• Experience advising public sector clients.
• Strong understanding of procurement rules and grant funding

Responsibilities

• Advise public bodies and authorities on commercial contracts and procurement.
• Draft and negotiate grant funding agreements and related documents.
