Job summary

Version 1 is seeking an Analytics professional to deliver data analysis and visualisation for public sector projects. You will join a multi-disciplinary client team and work on dashboards, data transformations, and insights that inform policy and digital services.

You will collaborate with stakeholders to drive data literacy and governance. Depending on skills, responsibilities include coaching, training and sharing expertise within the analytics community of practice.

Qualifications

• SQL advanced usage for data analysis.
• Data visualisation with multiple tools.
• Enabling data-driven decision-making across teams.
• Building relationships with clients and stakeholders.
• Strong communication to share data stories.

Responsibilities

• Build dashboards in Looker Studio, Power BI or Amazon QuickSight.
• Write SQL queries to transform data for analysis.
• Use SQL or Python to analyse data.
• Develop insights that transform decision making for policy or product strategy.
• Define and visualise KPIs for government digital services.
• Coach and train teammates and clients when needed.
