The Recruitment Co in Lisburn is recruiting an experienced Accounting Technician for a public sector client. Immediate start, 36.25 hours per week, Monday to Friday, at £19.72 per hour.

This temporary role has the potential to become permanent. The successful candidate will provide technical and administrative support, assisting with financial reporting, month-end and year-end processes, reconciliations and the maintenance of accurate financial records, while working as part of a busy Finance

Qualifications

• Qualified Accounting Technician with strong financial accounting and reconciliation skills.
• Advanced Excel skills to analyse and report financial data.
• Experience in a finance environment, month-end/year-end procedures and financial reporting.

Responsibilities

• Assist with internal financial reports and year-end statutory accounts.
• Support month-end and year-end accounting procedures.
• Prepare journals and complete reconciliations.
• Maintain accurate financial records and asset register updates.
