Glasgow recently established a new Destination Management Organisation (DMO) to serve as the city’s voice to the world. Called Destination Glasgow, the new unit sits within Economic Development, in the Chief Executive’s Department. The Public Relations Support Officer post reports to the Senior Officer (Marketing, Communications & Digital).
We are looking for a talented Public Relations specialist who will handle media enquiries and provide public relations advice including comms planning, contributing to projects and working with internal stakeholders and external partners. You will be able to create content for a range of B2B and B2C channels including first rate video filming & editing. You will be creative, curious and results driven with an interest in keeping up with the latest developments in the sector.
