Public Law & Human Rights Solicitor, Leeds

We are working with a highly respected major national firm with an excellent reputation and real breadth & depth of expertise in Public Law & Human Rights work to find a junior Human Rights lawyer for their growing team in the Leeds office.

  • Team is highly ranked by Legal 500 and Chambers across Civil Libert Liberties and Human Rights, Police Law, Administrative Law and Court of Protection, with a fair number of individual lawyer rankings.
  • Expertise and capability to bring important and complex cases before the courts, which are often in the public domain.
  • Committed to securing justice for their clients and making a difference to their lives.

You will get involved in a really interesting and diverse caseload, whether you're working on Article 2 inquests, deprivation of liberty safeguards challenges, contested Court of Protection applications, false imprisonment actions against the Police, to name but a few. Human rights, and breaches in human rights, spans a wide range of contexts and situations, generating real variety of work.

Qualifications
  • If you are a qualified Solicitor, NQ up to around 4PQE, based in or around Leeds, or looking to relocate to Leeds, with experience in Civil Liberties, Human Rights, Police Law or Court of Protection, and this opportunity appeals, please get in touch to arrange a call to discuss.
