Job description
Overview

The role is part of Public Health Team at Cwm Taf Morgannwg covering Bridgend, Merthyr Tydfil and Rhondda Cynon Taf.

Responsibilities
  • Contribute to development, implementation and evaluation of public health programmes across the three counties.
  • Provide support to delivery of health improvement programmes/projects, sharing relevant public health information and engaging partners.
  • Regularly facilitate training courses and engagement sessions with local partners.
  • Monitor and evaluate programme/project activity, undertaking routine monitoring and evaluation.
  • Develop collaborative partnerships with organisations and maintain solid communication links with identified contacts.
  • Implement system‑wide initiatives engaging health, local authority, third sector colleagues and wider partners.
Qualifications / Skills
  • Well motivated, enthusiastic and experienced public health professional.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work across sectors.
  • Basic Welsh speaking and listening skills (Level 3 CEFR B2) is desirable.
  • Experience in public health programme development and evaluation preferred.
