Job summary

NHS Scotland is seeking a Public Health Intelligence Analyst (Procurement – Anchors) to analyse local spend data and inform procurement decisions within a six-month development role. The post is based at Waverley Court, Edinburgh, with hybrid working arrangements.

The ideal candidate will hold a degree with SCQF Level 10 in a relevant field and have essential Excel, data dashboards and statistics knowledge. A commitment to equity and data-driven improvement is encouraged.

Qualifications

• Degree plus SCQF Level 10 in finance/analytics related field.
• Experience with procurement data is advantageous.
• Ability to capture, analyse, interpret and present complex data for varied audiences.
• Experience with Excel, dashboards and statistics is essential.

Responsibilities

• Analyse local spend data to inform procurement decisions.
• Develop data dashboards to support Anchor Institution ambitions.
• Collaborate with Public Health Intelligence, Anchors and Procurement across NHS departments.
• Present findings clearly to diverse audiences.
