Job summary

Swansea Bay University Health Board in Port Talbot is seeking an enthusiastic, experienced analyst to join the Public Health Team within Population Health Intelligence. The role focuses on turning health data into intelligence to support improvements in population health and reductions in health inequalities.

The post holder will work from the Baglan base at least two days a week and contribute to high-quality analytics across the team’s work programme, with flexible working and opportunities

Qualifications

• Masters level or equivalent experience.
• Highly skilled in SQL, Power BI, Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
• Extensive understanding of strategic information issues in healthcare.

Responsibilities

• Support the delivery of high quality analytics across a wide range of areas.
• Turn health and wider determinants data into intelligence to underpin population health work.
• Attend Baglan office a minimum of 1–2 days per week.
