Job summary

NHS Grampian invites applications for a dental practitioner to join the Public Dental Service in the North-east of Scotland. The successful candidate will provide dental care to adults and children with complex needs and develop expertise in care not usually available in general practice.

You will work across modern clinics with support from experienced colleagues and have access to first-class training and development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and patient management skills.
• Confidence to deliver dental care to patients with more complex needs.
• Interest in developing expertise in care not usually available in general practice.

Responsibilities

• Provide dental care for adult and child patients with a wide range of additional health and social care needs, including complex medical conditions.
• Deliver dental sedation, treatment under general anaesthesia, and minor oral surgery where required.
• Work flexibly across multiple locations within the Public Dental Service and with healthcare colleagues.
