A leading banking group is seeking a Public Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to manage cloud services, ensuring their security and reliability. The ideal candidate should have experience with Azure or Google Cloud, focusing on IaC and modern data architectures. About this Opportunity: We are modernising with cloud, a platform that is quick, secure and resilient for customers and easy, modern and green for developers. Our core technology focus is on Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud Platform. We are looking for a hands-on Infrastructure Engineer with experience in IaC and cloud technologies to deliver, maintain and secure infrastructure resources that host colleague and customer-facing services.
The Technologies may include compute, containers, data, operating systems, security and networking, predominately spanning virtual, and cloud computing such as IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS. You will work collaboratively with the Engineering & Product Owner Leads, building and executing road maps, participating in planning and delivery of goals, driving prioritisation, escalating impediments, and applying learnings to demonstrate success. You will be encouraged to participate in technical communities internally and externally to advance shared capabilities, and to mentor early career engineers to develop their skills.
Responsibilities also include delivering, maintaining, and securing infrastructure resources that host colleague and customer-facing services on our Public Cloud Infrastructure.
