Job summary

Greene King pubs are seeking a proactive Team Leader to help run busy shifts and deliver memorable guest experiences. You’ll lead by example, ensuring the team has what it needs and the shift runs like clockwork while upholding high standards for service, safety and compliance.

As a key member of the management team, you’ll deputise in their absence, organise the team, and maintain a warm welcome for every customer. English proficiency and a positive, can-do attitude are essential.

Qualifications

• Sufficient spoken and written English to perform the role safely and understand allergen controls.
• Be a role model to the team on giving great service and making sure every customer receives a warm welcome.
• Ability to think on your feet and adapt to busy shift challenges.
• Positive, can-do attitude and strong teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Lead by example to ensure the shift runs like clockwork and the team has what they need.
• Deputise for the management team and resolve issues in their absence.
• Organise and coordinate the team during busy shifts to maintain high standards.
• Keep the bar area safe, legal, and clean, addressing issues quickly and safely.
