Job summary

J D Wetherspoon is seeking a maintenance-minded cleaner to keep all pub areas spotless and welcoming. You will work with friendly teams across early mornings, evenings and weekends, helping customers enjoy a clean and comfortable environment.

Full training is provided; there are opportunities to progress into team‑leader roles through on‑the‑job training and academies. The role offers flexible hours and a supportive, inclusive workplace.

Qualifications

• No experience required; training provided.
• Ability to follow cleaning procedures and safety rules.
• Good team player with a positive attitude.
• Availability for early mornings, evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Clean all pub areas to high standards.
• Complete daily, weekly and monthly cleaning tasks.
• Use cleaning chemicals and equipment correctly.
• Monitor supplies and notify manager when stock is low.
• Report maintenance and pest issues to the manager on duty.
• Greet customers politely and help where needed.
• Attend induction and ongoing training sessions.
