A leading patient transport company in Liverpool is seeking a part-time Courier Driver. The role involves transporting goods safely and requires excellent communication skills. Candidates must hold a full UK Manual Driving Licence for at least 12 months and be able to handle manual tasks. We have a fantastic opportunity for a Courier Driver to join our team based in Speke.
Contract: Permanent Part Time - Thursday and Friday only 08:00 - 18:00 (20 hour week)
The main purpose of the courier driver role is to contribute to the safe and timely movement and transportation of goods and equipment.
The role will require excellent communication skills with customers, colleagues, and other stakeholders to maintain the highest standards. Using electronic and paper-based forms of recording tasks and items delivered and collected, making sure that all courier tasks are carried out correctly and to scheduled times. The role may involve heavy lifting/manual handling of equipment and goods, using a tail lift and loading/unloading and moving of Roll cages.
You will be driving vehicles from small Vans up to 3.5 tonne Luton vans, these can be driven on the category B part of the UK driving licence. You must have held a Full UK Manual Driving Licence for a minimum of 12 months and have no more than 6 penalty points.
