Outcomes First Group is recruiting a Psychotherapist to join our Clinical Team across Baston House School and Woodside Park School. You will deliver assessments and bespoke interventions for pupils with complex communication needs, autism and related emotional needs, while liaising with staff and families.

The role emphasizes holistic therapy, credible reporting, and developing the clinical service with ongoing professional development within a supportive, safeguarding-driven environment.

Qualifications

  • Registered Psychotherapist Practitioner (Level 7) is essential.
  • Registered member of HCPC, BACP, BABCP, PTUK, NCPC, or UKCP.
  • Integrative approach with CBT-informed practice is preferred.
  • Experience working in a school/child and adolescent setting is desirable.
  • Clear, concise clinical reporting and documentation skills.
  • Experience with neurodivergence and complex needs within educational settings.
  • Ability to work independently under supervision and in teams.
  • Evidence of ongoing CPD and professional development.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver bespoke assessment and intervention plans for pupils with complex needs.
  • Provide psychotherapy services in a school setting with safeguarding at the forefront.
  • Write reports and maintain clinical documentation in line with guidance.
  • Support and train staff and parents to extend clinical work beyond sessions.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop service provision.

In this exciting role, you will work collaboratively to deliver bespoke assessment, and intervention plans for pupils with complex communication needs, autism and associated learning and emotional needs.You will implement a holistic, therapeutic approach to helping our pupils in their daily lives, ensuring they are safe, comfortable and healthy. Undertaking all aspects of Psychotherapy clinical duties, you will adhere to professional and regulatory guidelines, carrying out specialist individual assessments and interventions, and preparing relevant documentation, including writing reports. A significant element of this role will be working alongside the onsite clinical team to continue to develop the clinical service provision, including providing support and training to staff and parents.   • Registered Psychotherapist Practitioner (Level 7)
  • Registered member of one or more of the following bodies: HCPC, BACP, BABCP, PTUK, NCPC, UKCP· Integrative therapist, CBT informed· Specialist education setting experience/working therapeutically within a school/child and adolescent – preferred.
  • Clear and concise report writing relating to clinical and research activities
  • Experience of working with people with neurodivergence and/or complex needs (e.g., complex trauma, neurodevelopmental differences, mental health needs)
  • Ability to work independently as agreed under supervision
  • Experience of multi-professional work teams or services within designated speciality
  • Evidence of continuing professional development relevant to the setting
