Job summary

Birkbeck University of London invites applications for an Associate Lecturer A to join the teaching team on the MSc/MA Specialist Psychology programmes. The role covers the Intervention Design and Evaluation module (Level 7) with 25 hours of teaching across ten sessions starting January 2027.

You will deliver teaching, undertake course administration and contribute to assessment, including a 2500-word essay.

Qualifications

• A degree in Psychology.
• Postgraduate degree in Psychology or related area.
• Strong understanding of ethical and reflective practice in psychology.
• Understanding of communication, relationships and emotions in workplace and stress at work.
• Teaching experience with adult HE students.

Responsibilities

• Deliver teaching to Birkbeck students.
• Prepare, teach, administer and assess the Intervention Design and Evaluation module.
