Tradewind Recruitment is working with a range of primary schools across Bolton and Bury to recruit Psychology Graduates for Teaching Assistant roles. These positions are suited to graduates seeking hands‑on experience supporting children's learning, behaviour, and emotional development.

This role provides direct classroom exposure and is particularly relevant for graduates considering careers in teaching, educational psychology, child psychology, mental health, or SEN support.

The Role:
  • Supporting pupils on a 1:1 basis and in small groups
  • Assisting children with additional needs including ASD, ADHD, SEMH, and speech and language difficulties
  • Supporting emotional regulation, behaviour management, and social development
  • Working alongside class teachers and SEN staff to implement support strategies
  • Observing, recording, and reporting pupil progress
Ideal Candidate:
  • Psychology degree (or related discipline)
  • Strong understanding of child development and behaviour
