Step Into Teaching Limited seeks a Psychology graduate to join a Cromer, Norfolk school as a Graduate Teaching Assistant. You will support pupils with additional needs, helping learning, behaviour and emotional wellbeing while gaining hands-on experience in an educational setting.

PSYCHOLOGY GRADUATE TEACHING ASSISTANT - CROMER, NORFOLK

Location: Cromer, Norfolk
Salary: £500-£530 per week, term-time only
Hours: Monday-Friday, full-time
Start: ASAP
Contract: Full academic year

Step Into Teaching is working with a school in Cromer, Norfolk, looking for a motivated and compassionate Graduate Teaching Assistant to support pupils with additional needs.

This is an excellent opportunity to take your Psychology degree into a real school environment, gaining valuable experience supporting children's learning, behaviour, emotional wellbeing and development.

What you'll be doing
  • Providing 1:1 and small-group support to pupils with additional needs
  • Supporting pupils with their learning, communication and confidence
  • Developing positive and trusting relationships with children and young people
  • Supporting emotional regulation, behaviour and engagement
  • Helping pupils access personalised learning and classroom activities
  • Working closely with teachers and other members of the school's support team
