About the Role - Psychology Graduate Teaching Assistant - Cheltenham

As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting teaching and learning across the school. Working closely with experienced teachers, you will help deliver engaging lessons, support pupil progress, and contribute to a positive and inclusive learning environment.

You will gain hands‑on experience supporting pupils both in and out of the classroom, including working with individuals and small groups, and assisting those who may require additional support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supporting teaching and learning within the classroom
  • Assisting with lesson preparation and classroom organisation
  • Working with small groups or on a 1:1 basis when required
  • Encouraging pupil engagement, confidence, and participation
  • Supporting pupils with additional learning or behavioural needs
  • Helping to maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Collaborating with teachers and wider school staff

  • A recent graduate (any subject considered)
  • Passionate about working with children and young people
