Supporting pupils with a range of SEND needs, including autism, SEMH and communication differences
Helping young people regulate emotions and access learning in a way that feels safe and achievable
Working closely with teachers, therapists and the SENCo to deliver tailored support
Using your Psychology insight to spot patterns, build trust and understand behaviour as communication
Encouraging independence, confidence and small-but-mighty steps forward every day
A Psychology graduate who enjoys working directly with young people
Someone calm, thoughtful and patient, especially during tricky moments
A good listener who can build relationships quickly
A team player who wants to learn from experienced SEN practitioners
Any experience with SEND, youth work or mental health support is a bonus, but not essential
Ideal experience for future careers in Educational Psychology, Clinical Psychology, CAMHS or Teaching
Hands-on exposure to therapeutic approaches used in specialist settings

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
