Qualifications

• Must hold a degree in Psychology or closely related subject.
• Interest in child development, mental health and SEN.
• Patient, empathetic and confident building relationships with children.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Interest in educational psychology, teaching, therapy or wider mental health services.

Responsibilities

• Deliver tailored 1:1 and small group interventions to support pupils.
• Provide support to improve academic progress and wellbeing.
• Assist teachers in adapting learning activities to pupil needs.
• Encourage positive behaviour, emotional regulation and social development.
• Monitor pupil progress and contribute to personalised support plans.
