Job summary

Pennine Care in Bury (NHS Bury Talking Therapies) is seeking an enthusiastic qualified PWP to join our Talking Therapies team. The role focuses on low intensity CBT interventions for common mental health difficulties, with options for 1:1 in person, telephone, or video delivery.

You will hold PgCert/Diploma and be registered with BPS or BABCP, working with a team of PWPs, CBT therapists and counsellors. Diversity and equal opportunities are core values of our service.

Qualifications

• PgCert/Diploma in Low Intensity Psychological Interventions from an accredited PWP training course.
• Registered with BPS or BABCP.
• Experience delivering Low Intensity CBT for common mental health difficulties.

Responsibilities

• Provide suitability assessments and evidence-based Low Intensity CBT interventions.
• Deliver 1:1 sessions face-to-face, by telephone, or via video; group workshops and online options.
• Work with diverse populations and use interpreters when required; promote equality and inclusion.

NHS Bury Talking Therapies are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and committed qualified PWP to join their highly successful and motivated team.

The role requires a PgCert/Diploma in Low Intensity Psychological interventions from an accredited PWP training course.

The role requires you to be registered with either the BPS or BABCP.

The successful candidate will join a well-established Talking Therapies team including Psychological Wellbeing Practitioners, Cognitive Behavioural Therapists and Counsellors.

Our PWP’s provide suitability assessments and evidence based Low Intensity CBT interventions for people with common mental health difficulties, such as anxiety and depression. We offer 1:1 interventions face-to-face, via telephone or via video, as well as group workshops and online interventions.

The post holder will work with people from different cultural backgrounds and ages, using interpreters when necessary and should be committed to recognising and valuing diversity and providing equal opportunities for all.
