A healthcare organization in Stroud is seeking a Practitioner Psychologist or Psychological Therapist to support individuals dealing with complex psychological issues. The ideal candidate will hold a BPS accredited doctorate and have a commitment to professional development. This full-time position may be available for job sharing or part-time hours. Excellent communication skills and emotional robustness are essential for this role.
We are a small supportive Psychological Therapies team, working across Stroud and Cirencester. We currently consist of two Clinical Psychologists, an Art Psychotherapist, CBT Nurse Therapist and a Clinical Associate Psychologist. We offer a wide range of interventions to people who are working with the Recovery teams (secondary adult mental health).
Applications to this role are welcome from a wide range of psychological therapy practitioners with an interest in working with people with high levels of complexity, and in particular from therapists with an interest in CBT for psychosis (either trained or willing to undergo training), Arts Psychotherapists and psychodynamically trained therapists.
We have a full time post available and will also consider job sharing or part time hours requests.
