Job description
Overview

Are you an enthusiastic and dedicated CBT Therapist or Clinical/Counselling Psychologist? If you are looking to progress and develop your clinical and leadership skills within a new area of service transformation, we would love to hear from you.

Responsibilities
  • Plan and deliver online and/or in-person psychoeducational and therapy groups, including leading a new skills‑based group programme for participants to learn skills to manage emotional intensity and related behaviours.
  • Work closely with Community Mental Health Psychological Therapies (CMHPT) and Mental Health Integrated Community Teams (MHICS), contributing to wider psychological therapies provision and potential individual work.
  • Provide clinical leadership and oversight of group service delivery for people with emotional intensity difficulties and supervise junior staff in facilitation of psychoeducational groups.
  • Participate in the implementation and development of system‑wide mental health services to improve experience for people with serious mental health problems in primary care.
Qualifications

Required expertise: Level 5 CBT Therapist or Clinical/Counselling Psychologist at a senior‑level, able to deliver psychoeducational and therapy group programmes and provide clinical leadership.
