Job summary

Kemp Recruitment Ltd is recruiting for a Workshop Manager to join our client's dedicated Engineering team in Knitsley, working a day shift Monday to Friday. The role focuses on day-to-day management of the engineering function and ensuring the bus fleet is maintained to DVSA standards.

Salary ranges between £48,645 and £53,000 per annum, with overtime available. The ideal candidate will have City & Guilds/NVQ Level 3 in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance, a valid driving licence, and proven

• City & Guilds or NVQ Level 3 in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance and Repairs.
• Car Driving licence is required.
• Supervisory/Managerial experience within the PSV/HGV industry is non-negotiable.

Responsibilities

• Cope with day-to-day pressures of a vehicle workshop.
• Daily management of the engineering function.
• Ensure the bus fleet is maintained to DVSA standards.
• Achieve maximum vehicle availability and continually improve standards.
