Job summary

First Bus Lowestoft Depot is seeking a NVQ3 (or City & Guilds equivalent) qualified PSV/HGV Mechanic to join our busy team. You will diagnose faults, carry out repairs, service vehicles and respond to breakdowns to keep buses running safely.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 / City & Guilds equivalent in vehicle maintenance & repair.
• Experience working on PSV or HGV vehicles is preferred.
• UK driving licence is required.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose faults and carry out mechanical repairs and parts replacement.
• Perform scheduled servicing, inspections and preventative maintenance.
• Respond to on-road breakdowns and road-test vehicles; complete documentation.
