Overview

Salary Circa £43k per annum, 40hrs per week, Range of shifts comprising of early, middle and late shifts. Bus/PSV Mechanic based at our Andover depot, Livingstone Road, Walworth Industrial Estate. Pay rate of circa £43k per annum. Shift pattern of 5 days in 7, on a rotating shift. Looking for a hands-on mechanical role where your skills keep the community moving? We’re looking for a proactive and skilled Bus/PSV Mechanic to join our friendly team at Stagecoach Andover. Whether you’re from a truck, HGV, automotive, plant, or rail background, this is your chance to work on a modern and varied fleet, including hybrid and electric vehicles, while helping to train the next generation of engineers.

What you’ll be doing

• Maintaining and repairing our fleet of buses to DVSA and Stagecoach safety standards
• Diagnosing and fixing mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic faults
• Carrying out routine inspections, servicing, and occasional roadside repairs
• Supporting apprentices by sharing your knowledge and experience
• Working safely and efficiently as part of a collaborative depot team

What we’re looking for

• NVQ Level 3 in HGV or PSV Maintenance (or equivalent)
• Hands-on experience working on commercial or specialist vehicles
• A safety-first attitude and strong attention to detail
• A team player with good communication skills
• Previous experience working on buses or large passenger vehicles (desirable)
