Job summary

A vehicle maintenance company is seeking a PSV Fitter for a permanent role based in Oxford, UK. The successful candidate will service public service vehicles, carry out PMIs, and diagnose vehicle faults. Candidates should have a Level 3 NVQ in PSV or HGV maintenance and a proven track record in a similar role. A PSV Licence is desirable but not essential. Competitive salary ranging from £40,000 to £52,000 dependent on experience.

Qualifications

• Proven track record in a similar role (PSV/HGV Mechanics/Fitting).
• PSV Licence desirable but not essential.
• Must be clearly conversant in English.
• Must be organised and able to work to a process.

Responsibilities

• Servicing Public Service Vehicles in line with company policy.
• Carrying out PMIs and preparing PSV's for MOTs & ensuring correct paperwork is complete.
• Diagnose vehicle faults to ensure correct method of repair.
• Road Testing vehicles & attending breakdowns as required.
• General Housekeeping duties.

Permanent Role - PSV Fitter

Location - Oxford, Oxfordshire

PSV Fitter Shift Pattern

• Monday to Friday
• Morning Shifts - 07:00-07:30 Start Times
• 40-45 Paid Working Hours Available

The Job
