PSHE Teacher Vacancy - Rhyl Secondary School (January Start)

Start Date: January 2026 | Daily Pay: £173 - £190 (Competitive, based on experience and scale)

We are seeking a dedicated and Qualified Teacher (QTS) for Personal, Social, Health and Economic (PSHE) Education to join our supportive team in Rhyl starting in January. This vital role focuses on developing students' life skills, well-being, and readiness for modern society.

Duties
  • Lesson Delivery: Plan and teach engaging PSHE lessons across Key Stages (likely age 11-16).
  • Curriculum Development: Deliver and adapt the PSHE curriculum, including RSE (Relationships and Sexuality Education) and Citizenship elements, following statutory guidance.
  • Student Support: Foster a safe and open environment for discussion of sensitive and challenging topics.
  • Pastoral Contribution: Support the school's overall pastoral and safeguarding initiatives.
  • Assessment & Feedback: Assess student understanding and progress in non-examination subjects.
  • Whole-School Contribution: Participate actively in staff meetings, training, and tutor duties.
