Job description

Link Education are working with a prestigious school based in Southeast London/Kent to help find an exceptional and inspiring PSHE Teacher to join them on a permanent basis.

The role will monitor the academic progress of the students in PSHE, in addition to providing strategic and operational leadership and development of this key area of the school.

This role will be part of the Senior Leadership Pastoral Team and play a full and active role in the life of a busy day and boarding school.

The ideal professional we are looking for:
  • Have experience of teaching and leading on PSHE and teaching English up to GCSE level
  • Be a dynamic leader with the ability to inspire, train and support a team of academic staff with the delivery of PSHE across the school
  • Has an excellent teacher who thinks creatively and has excellent subject knowledge in both PSHE and English
  • Inspire and motivate students to achieve their full potential.
  • Assess, track, and report on student progress.
  • Develop and implement engaging teaching materials
  • Create a safe and inclusive learning environment.
Essential Requirements:
  • Knowledge of teaching PSHE and English
  • QTS qualified
  • A proven track record of working in secondary schools
  • Ideally a car driver due to location – but not essential
