Overview

PRU Mentor | Secondary Alternative Provision | Bury | Step Teachers

Start: After Half Term - Oct 3rd or ASAP after that

Pay: Up to £105/day (PAYE)

Hours: Mon-Fri, 8:30am-3:30pm | Temp-to-Perm

Role Description

We're working with a secondary PRU in Bury supporting young people aged 11-16 from vulnerable backgrounds who are looking for a PRU Mentor to join them. The school provides smaller classes, vocational learning, and strong pastoral care to help pupils rebuild confidence and re-engage with education.

You'll support students through 1:1 mentoring, intervention sessions, and hands-on activities across subjects like construction, catering, and outdoor learning. Each day is different, combining academic support with personal guidance and emotional mentoring.
