• Conduct detailed fact-finds and needs analyses with clients.
• Recommend appropriate protection products based on client circumstances.
• Clearly explain insurance options and terms in a client-friendly manner.
• Ensure full compliance with FCA regulations and internal standards.
• Build and maintain long-term client relationships.
• Liaise with insurers and underwriters to secure competitive terms.
• Consistently meet and exceed performance targets and KPIs.

Skills

Previous experience in financial services or insurance advisory

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Self-motivated

Familiarity with CRM systems and digital tools

CeMAP or equivalent qualification

Willing to work towards FCA authorisation

As a Protection Advisor, you'll play a vital role in helping clients secure their financial future. You'll assess individual needs and recommend tailored protection solutions including life insurance, income protection, and critical illness cover.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed fact-finds and needs analyses with clients
• Recommend appropriate protection products based on client circumstances
• Clearly explain insurance options and terms in a client-friendly manner
• Ensure full compliance with FCA regulations and internal standards
• Build and maintain long-term client relationships

Skills & Experience

• Previous experience in financial services or insurance advisory (protection experience preferred)
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Self‑motivated with the ability to manage a remote client portfolio
• Familiarity with CRM systems and digital tools
• CeMAP or equivalent qualification (preferred but not essential)
• FCA‑authorised or willing to work towards authorisation.
