Overview

A prestigious life reinsurer is looking to hire a talented individual to join their Protection business in a pivotal role that underpins their ability to win new business, strengthen existing relationships, and deliver on their wider Protection strategy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate closely with the Client Solutions Sales team to create compelling, best-in-class client communications and materials that showcase the value of their services.
  • Lead cross‑functional deal teams (Pricing, Underwriting, Claims, Strategic Analytics, etc.) to ensure alignment and timely delivery of new business and in‑force initiatives.
  • Manage the end‑to‑end process for new business tenders and in‑force projects, driving collaboration and accountability across teams.
  • Draft treaties and addenda, ensuring governance requirements are met and execution is timely.
  • Support internal reporting and processes, including pipeline performance tracking, quarterly new business reporting, and updates to internal tools and frameworks.
Qualifications
  • Strong and relevant technical experience within the protection life (re)insurance market.
  • Ideally a qualified actuary with relevant post‑qualification experience.
  • Good understanding of the UK and Irish protection insurance market.
  • Highly analytical with strong problem‑solving skills, combined with excellent interpersonal and organisational ability.
  • Collaborative and confident in holding cross‑functional teams accountable.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Decisive, accountable, and commercially astute with the ability to prioritise and manage competing demands.
