Protection & Control Design Engineer
The successful individual will be a Design Engineer with at least five years’ experience of protection and control design from 11kv to 132kv. You must hold a UK driving licence and the right to work in the UK unassisted (no visa or sponsorship is available).
Our client wishes to appoint a Protection & Control Design Engineer to enable them to fully deliver their schemes and contracts. They seek an innovative, passionate and industry experienced professional to work on multiple projects simultaneously at differing stages of the contract lifecycle, from initial concept and feasibility through to procurement specification, construction and commissioning.
We are looking for a talented professional to join the team, working on critical grid and substation projects.
Our client is a leading UK surveying and engineering contractor based in northern England servicing the utilities and electricity transmission and distribution sectors for the likes of Grid, and various DNO’s, IDNO’s and major private and public sector clients.
Our client will continue its research into LV and HV connections and will deepen its capacity for surveying, mapping and clearance of buried services. Through innovative design, commissioning and maintenance they have a significant pipeline of projects including major infrastructure networks (OHL, UG cabling, sub-stations etc), microgrid solutions, gas / hydrogen-based and grid support through battery storage schemes.
