Prospero Teaching is currently recruiting supply teachers for a range of positions including long‑term, short‑term and daily bookings across schools in Central Birmingham.

Location: Central Birmingham
Position: EYFS Teacher
Type of work: Class Teacher
Start date: ASAP
Duration: Daily / Long term
Contract type: Temporary
Hours: 8:30 am – 4 pm, Monday‑Friday (term time only)

Key Responsibilities

• Planning and teaching: Deliver engaging, differentiated lessons across the EYFS curriculum, ensuring each child reaches their full potential.
• Assessment and tracking: Regularly assess student progress and implement effective strategies to support both high‑achieving students and those requiring additional support.
• Classroom management: Maintain a positive, inclusive, and structured classroom environment that promotes student engagement and well‑being.
• Collaboration: Work alongside the EYFS team and other staff members to ensure consistency and high standards in teaching and learning.

Experience, Training and Qualifications

• QTS and experience: Essential to have QTS and experience teaching in a school setting, either permanently or in a supply cover role.
• Safeguarding: Up-to‑date safeguarding training is imperative. If you have not completed a safeguarding course in the last 12 months, Prospero Teaching can provide a free course.

To be Eligible for Any Job with Prospero Teaching

• Hold Right to Work in the UK.
• Hold an enhanced child‑barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service, or be willing to process a new application.
• Provide two professional child‑related references covering at least the last two years.
