Service Care Solutions is currently working alongside a well‑known local authority in Cardiff, seeking a part‑time Prosecution Solicitor for a hybrid role.

Pay: PAYE (£44.06–£48.41 per hour) or Umbrella (£50–£55 per hour). Contract: 3 months with potential to extend.

Responsibilities

• Present cases in the Magistrates’ Court, including trials, bail applications and sentencing hearings.
• Handle a high caseload in prosecution law from start to completion.
• Provide expert advice and guidance within your area of expertise.

Qualifications

• Good communication skills, clear and appropriate in verbal and written form at all levels.
• Experience in prosecution law team of a local authority.
• Qualified solicitor, barrister or legal executive with at least 3 years’ experience in prosecution law.
