Property Surveyor – Inverness & Moray

With a network of 16 branches across Scotland and the North of England, we offer a comprehensive range of property preservation and repair services to property owners, building professionals, local businesses, and local authorities.

Role

We are now looking to employ a Property Surveyor to become part of our team.

Full Time/Permanent – Monday to Thursday 08:00am to 17:00pm & Friday, 08:00am to 16:00pm.

Job Description

1. Carry out surveys in domestic, local authority, and social housing properties.
2. Prepare comprehensive reports using word templates, work schedules, plan drawings, and estimates on excel templates.
3. Service branch enquiries relating to property defects.

Knowledge, Experience & Requirements

1. This position would suit an individual from a trades background with some skills relating to an understanding of domestic property construction and an understanding of simple drawing packages and Office 365.
2. Previous experience in surveying in insurance claims is preferred.
3. Previous construction experience preferred.
4. Willingness to learn, take instruction, and learn on the job.
5. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
6. Attention to detail.
7. Excellent time management and organisational skills.
8. Ability to work as part of a team.
9. Full UK Driving Licence.
