Location: Beeston, Nottingham Salary: £43,418 – £45,703 plus excellent benefits Contract: Full-Time, Permanent (37.5 hours/week) Working Style: Hybrid – covering Nottinghamshire, Rushcliffe, Broxtowe, Gedling & East AngliaWe’re working with a forward-thinking housing organisation that’s looking for a Property Surveyor to join their property team.

We’re looking for a proactive Property Surveyor to join their property team. You’ll take the lead on challenging repairs, structural faults, and major defects ensuring homes are safe, compliant, and maintained to the highest standards.

Your Impact
  • Be the trusted expert for complex building diagnostics across our housing portfolio.
  • Manage a diverse caseload including damp & mould, disrepair claims, insurance works, and specialist repairs.
  • Apply your knowledge of HHSRS and building pathology to identify and resolve Category 1 & 2 hazards.
  • Provide technical advice and post-inspection support to colleagues, ensuring consistency and quality.
  • Contribute to planned works and service improvements through innovation and insight.
  • Review home improvement requests with a focus on safeguarding housing assets.
What You’ll Bring
  • Proven experience in resolving complex property maintenance and repair issues.
  • Strong understanding of housing construction, diagnostics, and NHF Schedule of Rates.
  • Expertise in damp & mould diagnostics and HHSRS application.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical matters clearly to residents.
