Job summary

Greene King is seeking a Field-Based Surveyor for the North West region to ensure pubs comply with statutory obligations and standards, with time spent in offices and in the field.

The role requires experience in multi-site pub/leisure/retail developments, excellent planning, and an industry qualification such as RICS or CIOB. You will contribute to protecting asset value and lead reactive works across locations.

Qualifications

• Previous experience multi-site pub/leisure/retail developments.
• Excellent planning and implementation skills.
• Ideally, hold a professional industry-recognised qualification either RICS or CIOB with 5 years+ experience in industry.
• Experience of maintaining the property's asset value to enhance, refine and improve its presentation and operating effectiveness.
• Extensive property management experience with strong leadership and innovation.
• Planning & organisation – ability to meet deadlines and deliver results.
• Awareness of other people, environment and your impact on them.

Responsibilities

• Carry out condition surveys to provide a capital investment plan.
• Facilitate the effective delivery of a property surveying program, including minor and major projects within your region.
• Prioritise actions to meet deadlines and deliver results across locations.
• Proactively manage the delivery of reactive works in your region.
• Identify problems and causes and take corrective action.
• Evaluate data to reach logical decisions and take action.

Job Description

As a Surveyor, you will ensure the pubs within your region (North West) comply with relevant statutory obligations and are maintained in accordance with agreed Company and Divisional standards.

Field-Based – required to spend time in multiple offices and in the field/ Pubs.
