Job summary

MMP Consultancy Limited is seeking an experienced Property Surveyor to support major works, planned maintenance and cyclical investment across a diverse residential portfolio.

Location: Hybrid with regular travel. Salary: 56,650 per annum. Hours: 35 hours per week, Mon–Fri with occasional evenings/weekends.

Qualifications

• Recognised professional qualification in Building Surveying, Construction, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 3 years' experience in a residential Property Surveyor role.
• Experience delivering major works and planned maintenance programmes.
• Strong understanding of housing legislation and compliance requirements, including Building Safety Act 2022, Fire Safety Act 2021, HHSRS, Decent Homes Standard, Social Housing Regulation requirements.

Responsibilities

• Undertake stock condition surveys and property inspections.
• Produce detailed survey and inspection reports using asset management systems.
• Develop and support delivery of major works, planned maintenance, and cyclical programmes.
• Prepare specifications, tender documentation, and oversee contract delivery.
• Carry out site inspections to ensure quality, compliance, and value for money.
• Support the development of 5-year investment and asset management plans.
• Undertake HHSRS inspections and provide recommendations.
• Maintain accurate asset and compliance records.
