My client is currently seeking a Property Solicitor to join their busy law firm in Leicester, Leicestershire.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a solicitor confident in handling both commercial and residential property matters, looking for a role that offers genuine autonomy, long-term stability, and a supportive working culture.

You’ll be joining a modern, paper-light practice that invests heavily in its systems and people. The firm has built an impressive reputation for quality and efficiency, attracting loyal clients across the Midlands and beyond.

The Role

You will manage a mixed caseload of commercial and residential property transactions from instruction through to completion, working with a diverse range of clients including investors, developers, landlords, and private individuals. The successful candidate will be expected to work independently, using the firm's case management system effectively and providing first-class service at all times.

• Freehold and leasehold sales and purchases
• Commercial leases, renewals, and assignments
• Residential conveyancing (including high-value transactions)
• Development and site acquisition work
• Re-mortgages and title reviews
• General property advice and client liaison

About You

We’re looking for someone commercially astute, self-sufficient, and personable — a solicitor who enjoys being trusted to get on with their work.

• A minimum of 3 years PQE in property law (commercial and residential).
• Proven ability to handle files independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong technical knowledge and a practical, solution-focused approach.
• Confidence with digital case management and a paperless workflow.
• Excellent client care skills and a genuine commitment to quality service.
