Job summary

Greene King is seeking a Property Services Lead for Pub Partners, UK-based with hybrid work and travel to sites and Head Office in Bury St Edmunds. You will shape and deliver the property investment, repairs and maintenance strategy across leased, tenanted and franchise pubs, leading a team of surveyors and managing significant capital budgets.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience within property, construction, asset management or estate management environments.
• Proven leadership experience managing teams and influencing senior stakeholders.
• Significant experience delivering capital investment programmes and repairs & maintenance budgets.
• Experience within retail, hospitality, leisure or multi-site operational businesses.
• Strong commercial awareness with the ability to evaluate business cases and maximise investment returns.
• Excellent planning, organisational and project management skills.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
• Outstanding communication and stakeholder management skills at executive level.
• Professional qualification such as RICS, CIOB, MEng/MBEng preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the delivery of the Pub Partners capital investment and repairs & maintenance programmes.
• Work with divisional leadership, finance and property teams to create and manage an investment, repair and optimisation pipeline.
• Manage capital expenditure and maintenance budgets with robust financial controls.
• Lead, coach and develop a team of Regional Surveyors and Apprentice Building Surveyors.
• Ensure projects comply with company policies, statutory obligations and the Pubs Code.
• Build relationships across operational, finance, estates and executive teams to drive delivery.
• Champion continuous improvement, best practice and innovation across property activities.
• Represent the Property function at divisional executive level, providing insight and recommendations.
• Collaborate with external partners and suppliers to ensure service excellence and value for money.
• Maintain awareness of industry trends and developments in property and asset management.

As Property Services Lead for Pub Partners, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and delivering the property investment, repairs and maintenance strategy across our leased, tenanted and franchise pub estate. • Lead, coach and develop a team of Regional Surveyors and Apprentice Building Surveyors.

• Ensure projects comply with company policies, statutory obligations and the requirements of the Pubs Code.

• Build strong relationships across operational, finance, estates and executive teams to drive successful project delivery.

• Champion continuous improvement, best practice and innovation across property investment, design and construction activities.

• Represent the Property function at divisional executive level, providing insight, reporting and strategic recommendations.

• Collaborate with external partners and suppliers to ensure service excellence, value for money and compliance with agreed service levels.

• Maintain awareness of industry trends, emerging opportunities and developments in property, construction and asset management.

What you'll bring
