Job summary

Sellick Partnership is seeking a Property Paralegal to join a market-leading Property Securitisation team in Colchester. You will work on high-value transactions and support Partners and Solicitors, developing strong property and conveyancing expertise.

You will identify titles, obtain Land Registry documents, conduct due diligence, searches, and liaise with Local Authorities. You’ll manage your own caseload, provide regular progress updates, and contribute to post-completion matters.

Qualifications

• Ideally previous property or conveyancing experience.
• Strong drafting and legal research skills.
• Excellent organisation and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage a busy caseload and meet deadlines.
• Strong communication and client care skills.
• Proficient with Word, Excel and Outlook.
• Can work independently while supporting a team.
• 2:1 degree with LPC/CILEX or equivalent advantageous.

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Paralegal to join a highly regarded Property Securitisation team in Colchester, working at the forefront of the affordable housing sector.

This is an exciting opportunity for a property-focused paralegal to work alongside experienced Partners and Solicitors on high-value transactions ranging from £1m to £500m, while taking responsibility for their own caseload and developing their technical property experience.

The Opportunity:

You'll support a busy team across a variety of significant property transactions, with your workload likely to include:

• Identifying property titles and obtaining Land Registry documents
• Undertaking title checks, property due diligence and searches
• Obtaining information from Local Authorities and other third parties
• Chasing outstanding documentation and managing transaction requirements
• Carrying out pre-completion Land Registry searches
• Assisting with post-completion matters
• Providing clients, Partners and Solicitors with regular progress updates
• Helping coordinate and monitor significant transactions
• Managing your own caseload while working collaboratively with the wider team

About You:

• Ideally have previous property or conveyancing experience
• Have strong drafting and legal research skills

• Can manage a busy caseload and prioritise competing deadlines
• Have strong communication and client care skills
• Are confident using Word, Excel and Outlook
• Can work independently while being a supportive team player

• A 2:1 degree, LPC/CILEX experience or equivalent would be advantageous
