Job summary

The Salvation Army in the United Kingdom is seeking a Repairs Advisor to join our Property team in Leeds. You will be the first point of contact for repairs and enquiries, triaging requests and liaising with customers, contractors and colleagues to progress each case to a satisfactory conclusion.

From initial contact through to completion you will own the process, ensuring high standards of customer care are delivered.

Qualifications

• Experience of working with customers at all levels and delivering excellent customer care.
• Experience in property, maintenance or repairs environments is helpful.
• Ability to manage enquiries, coordinate information and communicate clearly with diverse stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Act as first point of contact for Property Helpdesk enquiries in your geographic area.
• Coordinate reactive repairs by liaising with customers, contractors and colleagues.
• Seek and manage quotations for works and support approval processes.
• Raise purchase orders and support expenditure approval for repairs.
• Maintain accurate records using the Property database and support reporting.
• Monitor contractor performance and escalate issues as needed.
• Carry out customer satisfaction surveys by phone, email or IT systems.
• Cover across the Property Helpdesk to support service continuity and occasional regional meetings.
