A regional housing association in Highweek is seeking a Property Project Coordinator. You will drive projects focused on reducing carbon footprints and optimizing assets while managing communications and budgets. Ideal candidates will possess solid project management experience, strong computer skills, and the ability to interpret technical data. This full-time role offers a supportive work environment and an exceptional benefits package.
At Teign Housing, we’re driven by a simple but powerful mission: to provide good quality homes for our residents and rewarding, flexible careers for our people. As a thriving social landlord with over 200 dedicated professionals across Teign Housing and Templer HomeBuild, we proudly own and manage more than 4,000 homes across Teignbridge, the South Hams, East Devon, Mid Devon, West Devon, and Exeter.
We believe everyone deserves a safe, affordable, and welcoming place to call home. If you share our passion for building vibrant communities and delivering services that truly matter, we’d love to hear from you.
Bringing our corporate plan to life, you will drive a wide range of projects to reduce our carbon footprint, minimise our residents energy costs and optimise use of our assets. This will involve initiatives across our housing stock, maintaining accurate project records and ensuring effective communication with both partners and residents, whilst making certain that contractors meet agreed health and safety, progress and customer satisfaction targets. At the same time, you will support funding applications, assist with audits, budgets and procurement, so you can expect an extremely high profile and plenty of stimulating challenges.
Hours: Full-time, 37 hours per week.
An experienced and confident administrator, you will bring a high level of computer literacy and proven ability to interpret technical reports and data. Needless to say, you will possess excellent time management and interpersonal skills, and you should be adept at solving problems and comfortable multitasking against strict deadlines.
If you have a background in project management within housing or construction, so much the better, and some awareness of social housing legislation, carbon reduction targets, and retrofit principles would be extremely useful. However, it’s your ability to make things happen, ensure best value and get the most from contractors and budgets that will matter most.
As an Investor in People Platinum organisation, you will be joining a company that creates a supportive high-performance culture.
You can also expect to enjoy an excellent benefits package, including:
Applications will be considered as they are received. We reserve the right to close this vacancy should a suitable candidate be offered the position.
