About the Role

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Property Procurement Specialist tolead the strategic acquisition of properties that meet our operational needs. This is a pivotal role requiring a strong commercial mindset and the ability to deliver property procurement strategies from concept to completion.

We are looking for a professional with aproven track record in property procurement,capable of designing and executing acquisition strategies that align with budgetary and operational goals

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the development and delivery of strategic property procurement plans for Private Rented Sector (PRS) and Temporary Accommodation (TA)
  • Secure a balanced portfolio of accommodation supply through acquisition, development
  • Design innovative solutions to alleviate TA supply pressures
  • Present commercial business cases to senior stakeholders and elected members
  • Identify and develop new forms of TA across internal and external portfolios
  • Maintain effective budgetary control and optimise financial outcomes for the Council
  • Ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements, including the Building Safety Act
About You

We are looking for a proactive and commercially astute professional who:

  • Has demonstrable experience in property procurement and strategy delivery
  • Can rapidly implement interventions to improve performance
  • Local Government experience needed
