Job summary

Private Energy Partners is seeking a commercially minded Property Manager to support origination, development, and long-term management of a diverse portfolio across the UK. The role sits at the intersection of land management, development, and asset stewardship, with responsibilities spanning site identification, optioning, planning, construction, and handover.

• Experience in property management across development and renewable energy assets in the UK.
• Strong knowledge of UK property law, leases, options, and land agreements.
• MRICS or working towards professional accreditation.
• Familiarity with the UK planning system and development process.
• Experience working with landowners, agents, solicitors, and consultants.
• Commercially aware with strong negotiation skills.
• Willingness to travel to sites across the UK.
• Experience in renewable energy, infrastructure, or utilities.
• Knowledge of solar, wind, battery storage, or grid infrastructure projects.
• Experience supporting planning applications and public consultations.
• Understanding of development-stage risk and project economics.
• Understanding of the agricultural environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage land and property interests across development and operational assets.
• Negotiate leases, easements, option agreements, and access rights.
• Identify cable route alternatives to add project value.
• Oversee landlord and tenant relationships with landowners, agents, and solicitors.
• Monitor lease obligations, rent reviews, break options, and title conditions.
• Coordinate land assembly strategies to de-risk development and construction.
• Support acquisitions, dispositions, and asset restructuring from a property perspective.
• Support early-stage site identification, feasibility, and land securing activities.
• Coordinate planning applications and land-related inputs to consenting strategies.
• Work with planning consultants, grid specialists, engineers, and legal advisors.
• Play a key role in pre-construction as projects progress to Final Investment Decision.
• Manage landowner engagement through planning, construction, and operations.
• Support grid connection negotiations where land rights are required.
• Assist in preparing investment committee papers and development budgets.
• Act as interface between landowners, authorities, consultants, and internal teams.
• Support community engagement activities related to land matters.
• Collaborate with construction and asset management teams for smooth handover.
• Represent the business in negotiations and site meetings.
• Support financial modelling for land costs and property obligations.
• Identify and mitigate land, title, and property-related risks.
• Ensure robust documentation and records management.
• Monitor third-party costs related to land and property matters.

Private Energy Partners (PEP) is a dedicated affiliate of Quinbrook, a specialist investment manager focused exclusively on the infrastructure needed to drive the energy transition in UK/Ireland, Australia and North America. We are specialist project developers, builders, and operators supporting the delivery of innovative energy infrastructure solutions that create long-term value for Quinbrook and its many stakeholders.

We are seeking a commercially minded Property Manager to support the origination, development, and long-term management of a diverse portfolio of energy and infrastructure assets across the UK. The role sits at the intersection of land management, development, and asset stewardship, supporting projects across renewable generation, energy storage, and associated infrastructure.

The successful candidate will manage land and property interests while actively contributing to the development lifecycle—from site identification and optioning through planning, construction, and operational handover. This is a hands‑on role requiring strong stakeholder management skills, commercial awareness, and an understanding of UK planning, property, and renewable energy frameworks.

Key Responsibilities:

Property & Land Management

• Manage a portfolio of land and property interests across development and operational assets
• Negotiate and administer option agreements, leases, easements, wayleaves, and access rights
• Have the ability to identify cable routes alternatives and bring substantial value to the projects
• Oversee landlord and tenant relationships, including landowners, agents, and solicitors
• Monitor compliance with lease obligations, rent reviews, break options, and title conditions
• Coordinate land assembly strategies to de-risk development and construction
• Support acquisitions, disposals, and asset restructuring from a property perspective
• Support early-stage site identification, feasibility, and land securing activities
• Coordinate planning applications and land-related inputs to consenting strategies
• Work closely with planning consultants, grid specialists, engineers, and legal advisors
• Play a critical role in the pre‑construction phase of the Development process, as the projects progress to a Final Investment Decision
• Manage landowner engagement throughout planning, construction, and operations
• Support grid connection negotiations where land rights are required
• Assist in preparing investment committee papers and development budgets

Stakeholder & Interface Management / Community Engagement

• Act as a key interface between landowners, local authorities, consultants, and internal teams
• Support community engagement activities related to land matters
• Work collaboratively with construction and asset management teams to ensure smooth project handover
• Represent the business professionally in negotiations and site meetings
• Support financial modelling assumptions relating to land costs and property obligations
• Identify and mitigate land, title, and property-related development risks
• Ensure robust documentation and records management across the portfolio

Skills & Experience:
