We're seeking a skilled Property Manager to join our Newport office. You'll be the main point of contact for landlords and tenants, overseeing maintenance, legal compliance, tenancy progression, and much more. If you have proven experience in property management and are local to Newport in Wales, we'd welcome your application. What you'll be doing as a Property Manager at haart Estate Agents in Newport.

Responsibilities
  • Booking and conducting property inspections
  • Negotiating tenancy extensions and/or renewals
  • Coordinating with contractors to manage maintenance and repair issues at properties
  • Deposit returns
  • Resolving rental arrears
  • Processing eviction requests
  • Ensuring properties meet all regulatory health and safety standards
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with landlords and tenants
  • Managing complaints
  • Completing all check‑in and check‑out procedures, including full inventory reports

Qualifications
  • Minimum 1+ years’ previous experience in a Property Manager role
  • Outstanding customer service and good telephone manner
  • IT skills
  • Valid Full UK Driving Licence for a manual car; automatic‑only licences are not accepted
  • Legal entitlement to live and work in the UK (in accordance with the Immigration Asylum and Nationality Act 2006)
  • Evidence of right to work in the UK (passport or birth certificate)
  • Proof of address
  • National Insurance number
  • Drivers licence check
Compensation & Benefits
  • £27 000 to £34 500 OTE per year, dependent on experience
  • Basic salary range of £20 000 to £27 500 per year, plus approximately £7 080 in uncapped commission

  • Full‑time working hours: 08:30‑18:00 Monday‑Friday and 09:00‑17:00 on one in every four Saturdays, with a day‑in‑lieu
