Responsibilities

  • End‑to‑end management of Assured Shorthold Tenancy (AST) agreements.
  • Handling rent arrears, renewals, and tenant referencing.
  • Carrying out regular property inspections (minimum twice per year).
  • Minimising void periods and maximising occupancy.
  • Ensuring full Health & Safety and legislative compliance.

Residential Property Manager

Our client is a highly regarded, long‑established property company in North London, now seeking an experienced Property Manager to take the reins of a substantial and varied residential portfolio. This is a hands‑on, high‑impact role for someone who thrives in a fast‑moving environment and takes pride in delivering outstanding service.

The Opportunity

You’ll take full ownership of a portfolio of around #removed# units, acting as the main point of contact for landlords and tenants. From compliance and tenancy management to maintenance and inspections, you’ll ensure every property runs smoothly and efficiently while maintaining the highest professional standards.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced property professional who wants responsibility, progression, and the freedom to shape how a portfolio is managed.

Key Responsibilities for the Property Manager:
  • End‑to‑end management of Assured Shorthold Tenancy (AST) agreements
  • Serving Section 21, 13, 8, and 42 notices
  • Handling rent arrears, renewals, and tenant referencing
  • Coordinating inventories, check‑ins, and check‑outs
  • Managing reactive and planned maintenance works
  • Carrying out regular property inspections (minimum twice per year)
  • Minimising void periods and maximising occupancy
  • Ensuring full Health & Safety and legislative compliance
  • Maintaining accurate records using Qube property management software
  • Supporting and working closely with Property Management Assistants
The successful Property Manager will have:
  • 10+ years’ experience in residential property management
  • Strong working knowledge of UK tenancy law and regulations
  • Highly organised with the ability to manage a large portfolio
  • Confident, professional communicator with great attention to detail
  • Experienced with Qube or similar property management systems
  • Full, clean UK driving licence
